Our Foster
Care services are ready to help you round out your search for that
special child in need of your loving care. We are very excited that
you have progressed in your desire to accept a child into your heart
and lives. ESP is here to facilitate this beginning and help you along
as you journey into providing a special place for a
special child looking for Extra Special Parents!
The Mission of Extra
Special Parents (ESP)
is to be the premier foster care provider of high quality care focused
on providing effective child welfare services, utilizing a
Professional Parent Model, that promote and preserve healthy family
relationships.
The Purpose of
Extra Special Parents (ESP)
is to provide high quality foster care services
and a stable family environment to youth between the ages of birth to
21 who have experienced abuse, neglect, or have a developmental
disability and/or mental health challenges and have been referred by a
Local Department of Social Services or another licensed private
child-placing agency.
ESP
utilizes a Professional Parent Model (PPM) of fostering,
allowing more concentrated and focused treatment of the child to
occur. ESP is open to all children without regard to race, color,
national origin, or sex. Children with handicapping conditions will be
accepted if their needs can be reasonably accommodated. |
